Position: Construction Supervisor
Project: Gujarat Gas Ltd. (CGD Project)
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee on-site execution of City Gas Distribution (CGD) projects for Gujarat Gas Ltd. The candidate will be responsible for supervising pipeline installation activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of work while coordinating with contractors and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at CGD project sites.
- Monitor installation of PE (Polyethylene) PNG pipelines and Steel PNG pipelines as per project specifications.
- Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, standards, and safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and project management for smooth execution.
- Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization at site.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain daily progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with Gujarat Gas Ltd. standards, technical specifications, and HSE requirements.
- Identify and resolve site-related issues to avoid project delays.
- Verify work quality and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and communicate project progress to senior management.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech/B.E. (Mechanical/Civil or relevant discipline) with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in CGD pipeline projects.
- OR
- Diploma in Mechanical/Civil or relevant discipline with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in CGD pipeline projects.Required Skills
- Good knowledge of PE (Polyethylene) PNG pipelines and Steel PNG pipelines.
- Experience in construction supervision of City Gas Distribution (CGD) projects.
- Understanding of pipeline installation methods, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Knowledge of site safety practices and quality standards.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and construction documents.
- Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage contractors and execute work within project timelines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on Gujarat Gas Ltd. or other CGD company projects will be preferred.
- Familiarity with pipeline laying, jointing, pressure testing, restoration, and commissioning activities.
Job Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
