Job Summary
Exxeella Global EdTech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a passionate and experienced Overseas Education Counsellor to guide students aspiring to study abroad. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of international education systems and the ability to counsel students effectively to make informed academic and career decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Counselling
- Counsel students and parents on international education opportunities, courses, and admission processes
- Guide students in selecting suitable courses and universities based on their academic background and career goals
2. Application & Admission Support
- Assist students with university applications and documentation
- Provide guidance on admission requirements and deadlines
3. Test, Visa & Scholarship Guidance
- Advise students on standardized tests (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.)
- Guide students through visa application procedures
- Provide information on scholarships and financial aid opportunities
4. Lead Management & Follow-ups
- Handle inquiries from prospective students
- Follow up regularly to convert leads into enrolments
5. Events & Outreach
- Organize and conduct seminars, webinars, and presentations
- Promote awareness about overseas education opportunities
6. Market & Knowledge Update
- Stay updated on international universities, courses, and immigration policies
- Maintain accurate and updated student records
7. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, partners, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in overseas education counselling
- Strong knowledge of study destinations, admission processes, and visa procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Target-driven mindset with a results-oriented approach
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (education/counselling background preferred)
