We are currently hiring for the position of Rotating Equipment Mechanic / Technician for a leading Oil & Gas / Refinery project in Kuwait.
Position:
Rotating Equipment Mechanic / Technician
Location: Kuwait
Qualification & Experience:
Twelve (12) years of schooling followed by formal apprenticeship training in Machinery Work (ITI / NCVT).
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in overhauling and maintenance of rotating equipment.
Experience in maintenance and repair of:
Single-stage overhung centrifugal pumps
Multi-stage centrifugal pumps (horizontal and vertical)
Centrifugal and reciprocating compressors
General-purpose and special-purpose steam turbines
Mechanical seals
Maintenance skills related to safety and relief valves.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating equipment and auxiliaries.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Dismantle, inspect, repair, replace, reassemble, and test rotating equipment components.
Perform alignment, adjustment, and commissioning of rotating equipment.
Diagnose equipment faults using testing equipment and precision measuring tools.
Perform compressor valve and seal lapping jobs.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety standards, drawings, specifications, and procedures.
Maintain proper housekeeping and comply with all HSE requirements.
