Chemical Analysis & Testing
- Perform routine chemical analysis of electroplating baths such as:
- Nickel plating
- Zinc plating
- Copper plating
- Chrome plating
- Silver/Gold plating (if applicable)
- Analyze concentrations of metal ions, pH, conductivity, temperature, additives, and contaminants.
- Conduct titration, spectrophotometer, and other laboratory tests.
- Prepare and standardize chemical solutions and reagents.
Process Control
- Monitor plating bath parameters and recommend chemical additions or corrections.
- Maintain process stability for consistent coating thickness and finish quality.
- Support troubleshooting of plating defects such as:
- Peeling
- Pitting
- Burning
- Poor adhesion
- Discoloration
Quality Assurance
- Inspect plated components for quality compliance.
- Maintain laboratory records, test reports, and calibration logs.
- Assist in implementing quality systems Safety & Compliance
- Follow chemical handling and laboratory safety procedures.Safety & Compliance Documentation & Reporting
- Follow chemical handling and laboratory safety procedures.
- Maintain MSDS/SDS documentation for chemicals.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of chemicals.
- Participate in safety audits and emergency response procedures.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly laboratory reports.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals and consumables.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance departments for process improvements.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
