Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices, drive sprint execution, and ensure effective collaboration across Product, Engineering, QA, and Delivery teams. The ideal candidate will enable high-performing Agile teams, remove impediments, improve delivery efficiency, and foster continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives and Backlog Refinement.
- Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles and Scrum best practices.
- Work closely with the Product Manager to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized and sprint-ready.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, Product and Delivery teams to ensure smooth sprint execution.
- Identify, track and help remove impediments impacting sprint commitments.
- Monitor sprint progress, velocity and Agile metrics.
- Ensure user stories meet the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).
- Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous process improvements through retrospectives.
- Maintain Agile dashboards and escalate delivery risks when required.
Requirements
- Experience working in an Agile environment as a Developer, QA Engineer or Scrum Master.
- 6–7 years of total IT experience.
- 2–3 years of hands-on Scrum Master experience.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, Taiga or similar Agile project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- CSM, PSM or SAFe Scrum Master certification is good to have.
- Experience in product development or fintech domain is preferred.
