Job Title: Events and Marketing Communications Manager
Role Summary
We’re hiring an Events & Marketing Communications Manager to drive event-led marketing and branding initiatives, owning the full lifecycle from planning and execution to post-event amplification and impact.
This role is not limited to event delivery—it focuses on maximizing the value of every event through content, campaigns, community engagement, and brand storytelling. You will help convert event participation into long-term engagement, brand growth, and measurable marketing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Strategy, Execution & Logistics
- Lead and own end-to-end execution of webinars, industry events, trade shows, and community meetups
- Manage event timelines, deliverables, approvals, and stakeholder communication
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for seamless execution
- Handle event logistics, including:
- Booth planning and shipment coordination
- Cross-border shipping and customs processes
- Vendor coordination, drayage, and on-site readiness
- Track event inventory and ensure all materials arrive on time
- Own event success metrics including registrations, attendance, engagement, and leads
2. Event Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Plan and execute event promotion campaigns across:
- LinkedIn (organic + paid)
- Email marketing
- Landing pages
- Write and manage all event-related content:
- Invitations, email campaigns, and reminders
- Speaker briefs, agendas, and event messaging
- Social media promotions and event creatives
- Ensure consistent messaging and maximize event reach and participation
3. Community Building & Brand Engagement
- Build and nurture industry communities across LinkedIn, webinars, newsletters, and partner networks
- Drive engagement with professionals in mining, manufacturing, industrial AI, and process industries
- Manage and grow LinkedIn presence, professional groups, and audience engagement
- Support thought leadership initiatives such as webinars, expert panels, and community discussions
- Engage with industry influencers, partners, and customers to expand brand reach
4. Content Creation & Campaign Support
- Write and adapt marketing content across channels:
- Ad copy (paid social/search/display)
- Social media posts
- Blogs, case studies, and marketing collateral
- Translate technical concepts into clear, engaging content
- Support storytelling initiatives including product innovations and customer success stories
- Maintain consistent tone, messaging, and brand voice
5. Partnerships & Sponsorship Activation
- Build and manage relationships with event organizers, communities, and partner organizations
- Execute sponsorship deliverables beyond placements, including:
- Co-marketing campaigns
- Webinars and content syndication
- Email and social promotions
- Identify new partnership opportunities to expand brand reach and lead generation
6. Design & Creative Support
- Create basic marketing visuals using Canva:
- Social media graphics
- Event banners and promotional creatives
- Simple infographics and one-pagers
- Ensure visual assets align with brand identity
- Coordinate with designers for advanced creative needs
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing webinars, events, or trade shows end-to-end
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and deadlines
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience in community engagement or audience building
- Proficiency in Canva and basic design tools
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in B2B SaaS, industrial tech, mining, manufacturing, or energy sectors
- Ability to communicate with technical audiences and simplify complex concepts
- Experience supporting brand building, thought leadership, or industry communities
