Full job description

Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Tech Lead with 9–12 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in back-end development using Java technologies with AWS. Exposure to treasury and capital markets will be considered a significant advantage.

Your Profile

Experienced Java Technology Leader with strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8/11/17), Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise application development.
Proven ability to lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable, high-performance applications aligned with business objectives.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, data structures, code quality standards, and development best practices.
Hands-on experience with database technologies such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.
Skilled in driving modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, Agile methodologies, Git, Jenkins, and continuous delivery frameworks.
Demonstrated leadership in mentoring development teams, conducting code reviews, managing technical risks, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Effective stakeholder and client management skills with the ability to lead technical discussions, influence architectural decisions, and communicate with senior leadership.
Exposure to Banking and Financial Services domains, including Financial Crime & Surveillance Operations (FCSO), AML Transaction Monitoring, Trade Surveillance, Regulatory Reporting, and modern technologies such as React.js, Azure/AWS, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
