Job Summary
The Human Resource Manager in an NGO is responsible for managing human resources to support the organization’s mission and programs. The role focuses on recruiting staff and volunteers, developing HR policies, maintaining employee welfare, and ensuring effective team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage recruitment of staff and volunteers for NGO programs.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with the NGO’s mission.
- Maintain employee and volunteer records and documentation.
- Organize training and capacity-building programs for staff and volunteers.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Manage performance evaluations and staff development.
- Support program teams in human resource planning and allocation.
- Address employee concerns and maintain staff welfare.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Social Work, or related field.
- Experience in HR management, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Knowledge of HR policies and labor regulations.
- Strong commitment to social development and community service.
