Job Description
Shamway Infra Developers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a meticulous and quality-driven Finishing Engineer to oversee the high-end interior and exterior finishing of Duplex Luxury Homes in Faridabad.
The ideal candidate must have a deep passion for architectural aesthetics and extensive hands-on experience in high-value finishes, including premium tiling, Italian marble, bespoke woodwork, and designer false ceilings. You will be responsible for transforming a gray structure into a polished, move-in-ready luxury residence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Interior & Surface Finishes
- Supervise the installation of premium flooring (Italian Marble, Granite, and High-end Vitrified Tiles) ensuring perfect leveling and zero-joint precision.
- Lead the execution of False Ceilings (POP, Gypsum, and Grid) including integration with recessed lighting and AC vents.
- Oversee high-quality wall finishes, including Putty, Texture Paint, Wallpapers, and Decorative Paneling (WPC, Louvers, or Charcoal panels).
2. Woodwork & Joinery
- Monitor the installation of flush doors, veneered doors, and luxury hardware/fittings.
- Coordinate with carpenters and vendors for modular kitchen fit-outs and designer wardrobes.
3. Quality Control (Snagging)
- Conduct rigorous "Snag Lists" (checklists) to identify and rectify minor defects in paint, polish, and tile grouting before handover.
- Ensure all surfaces are protected during the final stages of construction to prevent scratches or damage.
4. Material & Vendor Management
- Prepare detailed BOQs for finishing materials and verify material quality upon arrival at the site.
- Manage specialized finishing contractors and labor teams to ensure work meets "Luxury Class" benchmarks.
- Ensure timely procurement of paints, adhesives, and hardware to avoid site delays.
5. Site Coordination
- Work closely with architects and interior designers to ensure the site execution matches the 3D renders and design intent.
- Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure electrical switch plates and plumbing fixtures are installed neatly without damaging finished surfaces.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Interior Design.
- Experience: 8–12 years in building construction, specifically focusing on Luxury Residential or Premium Duplex projects.
- Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of finishing materials (Brands, Grades, and Application methods).
- Ability to read and interpret detailed Interior Design drawings and Floor Plans.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for material tracking and daily progress reports.
- Core Competencies: An obsession with "Perfect Finish" and zero-tolerance for poor workmanship.
- Strong communication skills to manage high-end clients and skilled artisans.
