We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Placement Coordinator to manage student placement activities and build strong relationships with companies and recruiters. The candidate will be responsible for connecting with employers, identifying job opportunities, coordinating interviews and recruitment drives, and supporting students throughout the placement process.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IT companies, recruiters, and corporate HR teams.
- Identify and generate job and internship opportunities for trained students.
- Coordinate with companies for job openings, interviews, recruitment drives, and placement activities.
- Share relevant job opportunities with eligible students and coordinate the selection process.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, aptitude tests, technical rounds, and HR interviews.
- Prepare students for interviews by providing guidance on resumes, communication, and interview skills.
- Maintain updated records of student profiles, interviews, selections, and placement status.
- Track student placements and conduct regular follow-ups after joining.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly placement targets.
- Prepare regular placement reports and maintain placement-related MIS and documentation.
- Work closely with trainers and the student counselling team to understand student skills and career preferences.
- Organize job fairs, campus recruitment drives, and employer interaction sessions.
- Develop long-term relationships with companies to create continuous placement opportunities.
Requirements
- Any Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in placement coordination, recruitment, HR, business development, or a similar role.
- Experience in an IT training institute, EdTech, recruitment agency, or educational institution is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good networking and employer relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to coordinate with students, recruiters, and internal teams.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and email communication.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Freshers with excellent communication and networking skills may also be considered.
