Job Description – Backend Node.js Developer
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Backend Node.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend services, APIs, and server-side logic to support high-performance web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
· Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.
· Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
· Optimize applications for scalability, security, and performance.
· Integrate databases, third-party APIs, and cloud services.
· Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
· Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· Proven experience as a Backend Developer or Node.js Developer.
· Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
· Experience with frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
· Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and authentication mechanisms.
· Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
· Experience with Git and version control systems.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
· Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
· Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
· Experience with TypeScript and backend architecture design.
