Job Summary
The Captain is responsible for supervising restaurant operations during shifts, ensuring excellent guest service, coordinating with service staff, and maintaining service standards to enhance guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide stewards and service associates during operations.
- Welcome guests and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Take orders and assist guests with menu recommendations.
- Ensure timely and accurate service of food and beverages.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Handle guest queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and restaurant ambiance.
- Train and mentor service staff on SOPs and service standards.
- Maintain hygiene, grooming, and safety standards.
- Assist in inventory control and stock management of restaurant supplies.
- Prepare shift reports and communicate operational updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and hospitality standards.

Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management preferred.
- Higher Secondary education with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service.
- Previous experience as Senior Steward or Captain preferred.
