Responsibilities:
Job Description:
Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and publish to Tableau Server / Cloud.
Translate business requirements into effective data visualizations and KPIs.
Connect Tableau to multiple data sources such as Oracle, Snowflake, Redshift, SQL Server, Excel, and flat files.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting and dashboard needs..
- Manage Tableau Server tasks such as:
- Publishing dashboards
- User access and permissions
- Data source refreshes and schedules
- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Document dashboard logic, data definitions, and calculations.
Support users with troubleshooting, enhancements, and training when needed.
Required Skills
Strong experience with around 5 plus years of experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud
Advanced knowledge of:
Calculated fields
LOD expressions (FIXED, INCLUDE, EXCLUDE)
Parameters & actions
Filters and context filters
Strong SQL skills (joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning)
Experience working with large and complex datasets
Good understanding of data modeling concepts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills to interact with business and technical teams
Qualification:
Bachelors in Mechanical
