The Junior Civil Engineer will assist senior engineers and project managers in the planning, design, and execution of railway and road construction projects. This role provides technical support, ensures compliance with standards, and contributes to the smooth delivery of infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support
- Assist in preparing engineering drawings, designs, and technical reports.
- Support site surveys, feasibility studies, and data collection.
- Provide inputs for tender documentation and project proposals.
Site Execution
- Supervise daily construction activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Monitor contractors and workers to ensure adherence to specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain site records, logs, and progress reports.
Quality & Safety
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
- Assist in implementing safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Report any deviations or issues to senior engineers promptly.
Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams for material and equipment requirements.
- Support communication with government authorities and consultants when required.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
3–5 years of experience in railway, road, or infrastructure projects (fresh graduates may apply).
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar engineering software.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from senior engineers.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
