About the Role:
We are looking for a QA Manual Tester Intern to join our quality assurance team and help us ensure the delivery of high-quality digital products. You will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying bugs, and verifying fixes across development cycles.
This internship is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, methodical, and eager to learn manual testing, test case writing, bug reporting, and SDLC/STLC practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing on websites, web apps, and mobile apps.
- Understand product requirements and create test plans and test cases.
- Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Trello, or Excel.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure functionality and usability.
- Conduct regression, functional, usability, and exploratory testing.
- Validate fixes and perform retesting after updates or bug resolutions.
- Maintain clear documentation of test results and observations.
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of software testing principles.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with writing test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports.
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
- Keen attention to detail and a passion for delivering bug-free experiences.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with tools like Jira, Bugzilla, TestLink, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL for data validation.
- Familiarity with UI/UX standards and web/mobile testing tools.
- Interest in learning automation in the future (Selenium, Postman, etc.).
