Job Summary:
The General Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in the manufacturing unit. The role involves handling documentation, maintaining records, coordinating with departments, and supporting basic office functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update physical and digital records (invoices, purchase orders, delivery challans, etc.)
- Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of information in company systems
- Assist in preparing reports, documents, and correspondence
- Handle filing, scanning, and documentation control
- Coordinate with production, stores, and accounts departments for documentation flow
- Support inventory documentation and stock records (GRN, dispatch details, etc.)
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier, and office communication
- Ensure proper organization of office files and records
- Provide general administrative support as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum: 12th Pass / Graduate in any discipline
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Good typing and data entry skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of office procedures
- Good communication skills
