Job Summary
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with 1.5 to 4 years of experience to provide end-user IT support and ensure smooth functioning of desktop systems, applications, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in desktop troubleshooting, Active Directory, SCCM, and Microsoft 365 environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1/Level 2 desktop support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365-related issues.
- Manage user accounts, groups, and access permissions using Active Directory.
- Perform software deployment, patch management, and system updates through SCCM.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues within defined SLAs.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including user account setup and device configuration.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution when required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory (User Management, Group Policies, Access Management)
- Hands-on experience with SCCM (Software Deployment, Patch Management)
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and operating systems
- Good understanding of Windows desktop environments
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Experience with ticketing tools and IT support processes
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Eligibility Criteria
- 1.5 to 4 years of experience in Desktop Support / IT Support roles
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to attend face-to-face interviews in Hyderabad
