Job Summary
St. Froebel Senior Secondary School is inviting applications from passionate, dedicated, and experienced educators for the position of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – German. The ideal candidate should possess excellent command of the German language, effective teaching skills, and a student-centric approach to foreign language education.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in German from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- CTET qualified (Preferred).
- Certification/Diploma in German language (such as Goethe-Zertifikat, TestDaF, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as a TGT German in a recognized CBSE/ICSE school.
Skills Required:
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written German.
- Strong knowledge of German grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and culture.
- Ability to develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Proficiency in using smart boards and digital teaching tools.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Teach German to middle school students as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and activity-based language lessons.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, projects, and question papers.
- Encourage students to develop confidence in speaking and understanding German.
- Organize language enrichment activities, cultural events, and competitions.
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Participate actively in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programmes.
Preferred
- Experience teaching the CBSE curriculum.
- Goethe-Zertifikat or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
