We are looking for an experienced Interior Project Engineer / Project Manager to oversee residential interior projects from execution to successful handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of premium residential interior projects.
- Coordinate with designers, vendors, contractors, supervisors, and installation teams.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules to ensure on-time completion.
- Supervise site activities and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee modular furniture installation, civil works, electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, painting, flooring, and finishing works.
- Monitor material planning, deliveries, and inventory at project sites.
- Resolve site execution challenges efficiently while minimizing delays.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and company quality standards.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and provide project progress updates.
- Prepare daily and weekly project reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Conduct final inspections and manage project handover to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in residential interior fit-out or turnkey project execution.
- Strong knowledge of modular interiors, civil works, electrical, plumbing, painting, false ceiling, and finishing.
- Experience coordinating multiple contractors and site teams.
- Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and site activities.
- Willingness to travel within Chennai for project execution.
