A Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for teaching chemistry concepts, conducting laboratory activities, assessing student progress, and fostering scientific understanding among students.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver chemistry lessons according to the curriculum.
- Explain chemical concepts, theories, and practical applications.
- Prepare and conduct laboratory experiments safely.
- Demonstrate proper use of laboratory equipment and chemicals.
- Assess students through tests, assignments, projects, and practical examinations.
- Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Maintain laboratory safety standards and inventory of chemicals and equipment.
- Stay updated with developments in chemistry and teaching methodologies.
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and school administrators.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Master Degree in Chemistry
- Bachelor in Education (B.ed).
