Core Responsibilities
- Table Clearing: Promptly remove used plates, glasses, and flatware from dining tables after guests finish their meals.
- Sanitization & Cleaning: Wipe down table tops, chairs, and booths using approved commercial sanitizers and cleaning cloths. Sweep up dropped crumbs and debris using a Crumb Sweeper for quick touch-ups.
- Table Resetting: Re-set tables with clean tablecloths, napkins, glassware, and polished silverware in anticipation of new diners.
- Station Restocking: Refill condiment bottles (salt, pepper, sauces), restock napkin dispensers, and ensure serving stations are fully supplied.
- Dishwasher Support: Safely transport dirty dishes to the back-of-house (BOH) dishwashing area and separate trash from reusable dishware.
- Floor Maintenance: Quickly sweep, mop, or vacuum up accidental spills and dropped food to prevent slip hazards.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long shifts, and lift/carry heavy trays of dishes.
- Hygiene Knowledge: Understanding of Food Safety and Hygiene Standards and safe handling of commercial cleaning chemicals.
- Speed & Efficiency: Capable of clearing and resetting tables quickly to reduce customer wait times.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring no streaks on glassware and that tables are spotless for the next guest.
Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
