Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our facilities. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and machinery
- Troubleshoot electrical faults using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace faulty components to minimise downtime
- Programme, test, and modify programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimise system performance
- Collaborate with mechanical teams to ensure integrated system functionality
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) programming and troubleshooting
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to electrical systems
- Familiarity with AutoCAD for designing or modifying electrical layouts is desirable
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for industrial equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused approach
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in electrical engineering or related fields are preferred
