Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled, well-presented, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The candidate will assist dentists during procedures, maintain sterilization standards, manage patient preparation, and support smooth clinic operations.
The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, basic dental knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Assistance
- Assist dentists during general, cosmetic, surgical, orthodontic, and implant procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after procedures
- Sterilize and arrange dental instruments as per infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays (if trained/certified)
- Maintain patient records and treatment documentation
- Ensure proper handling of dental materials and equipment
Patient Care
- Welcome and prepare patients for treatment
- Explain basic post-treatment instructions to patients
- Maintain patient comfort and hygiene standards
- Coordinate appointments and follow-up schedules when required
Inventory & Clinic Support
- Monitor stock of dental consumables and instruments
- Coordinate with vendors for clinic supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas
- Support front desk during busy hours if needed
Required Qualifications
- Dental Assistant certification / diploma preferred
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a dental clinic
- Knowledge of chairside assistance and sterilization protocols
- Familiarity with dental instruments and materials
- Basic computer knowledge for patient records and scheduling
- Good spoken English and Hindi
Preferred Skills
- Experience assisting in implant and surgical procedures
- Knowledge of dental software
- Professional appearance and patient-friendly attitude
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
