- Communication Hub: Act as the primary liaison between referring physicians, remote radiologists, and technical teams to resolve questions, status updates, or urgent requests. [1, 2]
- System Monitoring: Monitor platforms like PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and RIS (Radiology Information Systems) to troubleshoot transmission or data issues. [1, 2]
- Compliance & Privacy: Enforce strict medical confidentiality guidelines (such as HIPAA) when handling sensitive patient data and reports. [1, 2]
