Role Description The General Manager (Mid Level) will oversee day-to-day operations for construction and civil projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines. This full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and external stakeholders to drive productivity, quality, and cost control across multiple projects. The General Manager will review and approve safety plans, monitor audits and inspections, and support the implementation of training, certification, and licensing programs. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, supporting liaison activities with authorities, preparing progress and compliance reports, and ensuring accurate documentation for all project and CSR-related activities. The role also requires mentoring project teams, identifying operational risks, and recommending process improvements to align with Nexfore Consulting’s service standards.
Qualifications
- Strong construction and civil project management skills, including planning, execution, and site coordination.
- Proficiency in safety management, audits, and compliance with relevant construction and civil industry regulations.
- Experience in stakeholder liaison, including coordination with clients, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ability to manage training, certification, and licensing processes for project teams and site personnel.
- Competence in documentation, reporting, and maintaining accurate records for projects, safety, and CSR activities.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to guide mid-sized multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Relevant experience at a mid-management level within the construction or civil industry; experience in consulting or PMC is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort working in an on-site, fast-paced environment in Mumbai, with readiness to visit multiple project locations as needed.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per month
