Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to manage engineering projects from concept through production. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent project coordination skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers. The role requires ownership of project planning, design coordination, procurement support, production follow-up, quality assurance, and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage complete product development and manufacturing projects from concept to production.
· Coordinate with customers to understand technical requirements and project scope.
· Prepare project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
· Review engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and manufacturing documentation.
· Coordinate with design, procurement, quality, and production teams.
· Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering documentation, and project records.
· Identify suitable suppliers, obtain quotations, evaluate vendors, and support supplier selection.
· Monitor supplier performance, production progress, and delivery schedules.
· Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews and ensure manufacturability.
· Support prototype development, testing, validation, and production readiness.
· Participate in customer meetings and provide regular project status updates.
· Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
· Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, quality, and schedule.
· Coordinate inspection activities, quality documentation, and customer approvals.
· Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
· Support cost reduction, localization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with company procedures and engineering standards.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, or project engineering.
· Experience in handling multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including:
o CNC Machining
o Sheet Metal Fabrication
o Injection Moulding
o Die Casting
o Laser Cutting
o Welding
o Surface Finishing (Anodizing, Powder Coating, Plating, etc.)
· Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and engineering standards.
· Experience in supplier development and vendor management.
· Good understanding of quality control and inspection methods.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
