Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to manage the company's financial operations, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, provide financial insights, and support business decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, auditing, financial reporting, and corporate compliance in India.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
Taxation & Compliance
- Handle direct and indirect tax matters, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and statutory reports.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and regulatory authorities as required.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Prepare audit schedules and documentation.
- Develop and strengthen internal financial controls and processes.
- Address audit observations and implement corrective actions.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Analyze financial performance and provide management with actionable insights.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Support strategic planning and investment decisions.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Ensure timely vendor payments and customer collections.
- Monitor outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies.
Corporate Compliance
- Ensure compliance with provisions of the Companies Act, RBI regulations (if applicable), and other statutory requirements.
- Assist in board reporting and financial governance activities.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in finance, taxation, or ERP systems are an advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and corporate laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP ERP, Oracle NetSuite, TallyPrime).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, auditing, or corporate finance.
- Experience in Manufacturing / IT / Services / Startup / FMCG / Real Estate industry preferred.
- Prior experience handling audits, GST compliance, and financial reporting.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
