About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, generating qualified leads, building relationships with prospects, and supporting the sales team in driving business growth.
This role requires excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to engage with decision-makers across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients through LinkedIn, email outreach, cold calling, networking, and other lead-generation activities.
- Generate and qualify leads for the sales team.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Reach out to prospective clients and schedule meetings or discovery calls.
- Understand client requirements and present relevant company solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and interactions in CRM software.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and nurture relationships.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective outreach strategies.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly lead-generation and appointment-setting targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (BBA, B.Com, BMS, MBA, or equivalent).
- 0–2 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Lead Generation, or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Comfortable with cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn networking.
- Basic understanding of sales processes and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in B2B sales or agency sales.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar tools.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
