The Product Quality Control (QC) Executive is responsible for ensuring that all mobile accessories meet the company's quality standards before dispatch and after receiving from suppliers. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, root cause analysis, and coordination with suppliers and internal teams to minimize product defects and customer complaints. Key Responsibilities Incoming Quality Inspection (IQC) Inspect incoming products and accessories received from vendors. Verify quantity, model number, specifications, packaging, and accessories. Conduct functional testing as per QC checklist. Approve or reject products based on quality standards. In-Process & Final Quality Inspection Perform quality checks before products are dispatched. Ensure proper labelling, packaging, and barcode accuracy. Verify IMEI numbers and serial numbers where applicable. Conduct random sample inspections. Product Testing Test products for: Charging functionality Battery performance Bluetooth & Wi-Fi connectivity Speaker & microphone quality Buttons and ports Earphones, chargers, cables, power banks, neckbands, and other accessories. Defect Analysis Identify manufacturing defects and cosmetic damages. Categorize defects (Critical, Major, Minor). Perform root cause analysis. Coordinate with suppliers for replacements and corrective actions. Documentation & Reporting Maintain QC inspection reports. Record rejected products. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QC reports. Maintain testing records and audit documentation. Vendor Quality Management Communicate quality issues to suppliers. Follow up on replacement and warranty claims. Monitor supplier quality performance. Process Improvement Suggest improvements in inspection procedures. Help reduce return rates and customer complaints. Participate in internal quality audits. Compliance Follow company SOPs and quality standards. Ensure workplace cleanliness and safety. Maintain confidentiality of product information. Required Skills Knowledge of mobile accessories. Understanding of QC processes and inspection techniques. Ability to identify product defects. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills. Ability to work under deadlines
