Job Overview
We are seeking a QA Manual Tester with 1-2 years of experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring software quality through various testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing for web and mobile applications.
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA.
- Perform Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
- Validate bug fixes and retest resolved issues.
- Conduct API testing using Postman.
- Verify data integrity using MySQL queries.
- Collaborate with developers, project coordinators, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement analysis and review sessions.
- Prepare test documentation and testing reports.
- Follow software development and testing processes throughout the SDLC and STLC.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience with Bug Life Cycle and defect management processes.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA.
- Working knowledge of Postman for API testing.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of MySQL.
- Experience in Functional Testing and Integration Testing.
- Ability to write clear and detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with regression and smoke testing.
