Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning
- Plan it: Review customer orders to see how much fabric is needed.
- Set goals: Create a daily plan for the weaving machines.
- Track it: Check if machines are running on time to meet deadlines.
2. Yarn and Fabric Sourcing
- Buy items: Source the right raw materials like cotton or linen.
- Manage stock: Ensure the warehouse has enough raw materials without overbuying.
3. Loom Machine Oversight
- Set up looms: Adjust looms to make different patterns (e.g., Jacquard or Dobby).
- Fix issues: Find and fix weaving errors quickly on the shop floor.
4. Quality Check
- Test it: Check fabric for tears, incorrect colors, or weak spots.
- Fix errors: Tell the machine operators how to fix mistakes to avoid waste.
