About Saar Living
Saar Living is a Delhi-based manufacturer and supplier of premium wedding, event, outdoor and home décor products. Our product range includes lamps, chandeliers, garden umbrellas, gazebo tents, LED candles, event props, decorative hangings, outdoor furniture and other décor essentials.
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Shopify Developer to create, customise and optimise our Shopify e-commerce website.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and customise the Shopify store according to Saar Living’s branding.
- Create a premium, professional and mobile-friendly website design.
- Upload and organise products, collections, categories and product variants.
- Set up navigation menus, filters, search and product enquiry options.
- Integrate WhatsApp, payment gateways, shipping and required third-party applications.
- Create B2B and B2C enquiry or quotation request options.
- Improve website speed, mobile responsiveness and overall user experience.
- Configure basic SEO settings, meta titles, descriptions and image optimisation.
- Set up discount codes, promotional banners and offer sections.
- Ensure proper checkout, order confirmation and customer notification flow.
- Resolve technical errors and provide post-launch support.
- Train our team to manage products, prices, banners and website content independently.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in Shopify website development.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify themes, Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with Shopify apps, payment gateway and shipping integrations.
- Understanding of mobile-first and responsive website design.
- Basic knowledge of e-commerce SEO and website speed optimisation.
- Ability to create a premium website suitable for décor and lifestyle products.
- Good communication skills and ability to complete the project within the agreed timeline.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience creating websites for home décor, furniture, wedding, event, lifestyle or luxury product brands.
- Experience handling websites with a large number of product categories and variants.
- Knowledge of inventory, accounting or marketplace integrations will be an advantage.
Project Requirements
The freelancer will be responsible for developing a complete, functional and easy-to-manage Shopify website for Saar Living. The website should support both retail customers and bulk or business enquiries.
