Job Summary
The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the hotel premises to ensure smooth and safe operations for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain hotel electrical systems, lighting, wiring, and power distribution panels.
- Inspect and repair electrical faults in guest rooms, corridors, banquet halls, kitchens, and public areas.
- Monitor generators, UPS systems, transformers, and control panels.
- Perform preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
- Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and power failures.
- Maintain HVAC electrical connections and assist with maintenance of air-conditioning systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of pumps, motors, elevators, and emergency lighting systems.
- Follow hotel safety standards and electrical regulations.
- Maintain maintenance logs and service records.
- Coordinate with other departments for repair and maintenance work.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics
- Knowledge of generators, motors, and control panels
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems
- Problem-solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and electrical standards
Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrician Trade
- Relevant hotel or facility maintenance experience preferred
Experience
- 1–3 years experience in hotel maintenance, commercial buildings, or industrial maintenance preferred
Salary Range in India
Typically around ₹15,000 – ₹ 17,000 per month depending on hotel category, city, and experience.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
