Job Responsibilities:
Develop efficient product cost structure
Provide cost analysis data to support manufacturing and product development decisions
Capture and analyze data related to machine capacity utilization, downtime, wastage, maintenance time / cost
Ensure timely preparation of cost related MIS reports vis-à-vis Targets/ Standards, for Business & Operation Reviews
Take lead while bench-marking with peer industry - best in class
Identify and introduce effective monitoring systems for internal controls, cost effective measures and credit control systems, those in line with best practices followed across Organization/ Industry
Responsible for Cost Audit of the business vertical
Work closely and partner with supply-chain team and inventory management team to set up robust processes and procedures in relation to inventory management.
Develop policies and internal controls for all cost accounting and inventory activities.
Strictly monitor the cost budgets and escalate deviations with actual on monthly basis and recommend remedial/ cost control measures
Take initiative for Cost Reduction drive across the vertical
Closely work with the core team on Annual Operating Plans and Rolling forecasts to embed cost controls in the budgeting process
Be a good team player and continuously work towards self-upscaling of skills/ competencies and be an enabler for the team members, with an ultimate view to increase productivity on an on-going basis.
Desired Skills
Should be well versed & possess hands-on experience in SAP
Good experience in product Costing, Analysis & Reporting
Exposure to Cost Audit as per statute
Proficient in Windows applications, viz., MS word, MS excel, MS ppt.
Experience in making PowerPoint presentations to the core team
Well versed with MIS reporting, Forecasting/ Outlook, Credit & Cost Control mechanism
Exposure to preparation of Annual Operating Plan activity for an business vertical
Experience in driving cost reduction programs & exposed to review of Management and Operational cost Reports
Hands-on experience in scheduling and preparing for review meetings with Management entailing all departments
Strong Analytical Ability and presentation skills
Worked in Cross-functional environment and collaboration thereon
Excellent written and verbal communication
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
