Lead project engineering activities including design development, engineering documentation, and technical coordination to ensure successful project execution.
Prepare and submit General Arrangement drawings, schematic diagrams, and Bills of Materials in line with project schedules and customer requirements.
Coordinate technical discussions with customers, address comments, and secure timely approvals for engineering documents.
Ensure on‑time release of approved drawings and documents for Manufacturing and Supply Chain execution.
Work closely with Project Management and Customers during FAT and SAT activities to support testing, issue resolution, and acceptance.
Execute design and engineering activities in alignment with the Quality Management System (QMS) and internal engineering standards.
Design and engineer Protection and Control panels for substations up to 765 kV, including conventional and numerical protection schemes.
Apply strong technical knowledge of two‑main transfer schemes and breaker‑and‑a‑half schemes.
Engineer and implement protection solutions using numerical relays for transformer differential, distance, line differential, generator, busbar, overcurrent and earth fault protection, along with bay control units (BCUs).
Design Substation Automation Systems (SAS) including system architecture, Functional Design Specifications (FDS), IO lists, SAS panel drawings, and integration documentation.
Prepare and release manufacturing documents such as wiring schedules, label lists, and cut‑out details.
Coordinate with Project Management, Supply Chain Management, and Customers to ensure timely delivery of panels and systems as per project milestones.
Support issue resolution during execution to minimize delays and ensure project performance.
Willingness to travel across India for project, FAT, SAT, and customer coordination needs.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
