About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting principles, GST compliance, and Tally software. Freshers with strong academic knowledge are welcome to apply, while candidates with relevant experience will be given preference.
Educational Qualification
* M.Com (Master of Commerce) preferred
* B.Com with relevant accounting knowledge may also apply
* Equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update books of accounts in Tally
* Record daily financial transactions accurately
* Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, and payment records
* Handle GST calculations, filing, and compliance requirements
* Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
* Manage accounts payable and receivable
* Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
* Maintain financial records and supporting documentation
* Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities when required
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and taxation regulations
Required Skills
* Strong understanding of Accounting Principles
* Working knowledge of GST regulations and filing procedures
* Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime
* Good knowledge of MS Excel
* Strong numerical and analytical abilities
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication and organizational skills
Experience
* Freshers are welcome to apply
* Candidates with 2+ years of experience in accounting, taxation, GST filing, and Tally operations will be preferred
* Internship or practical accounting experience will be an added advantage for freshers
