The Senior Manager – Design will lead the design and development of medical implants and surgical instruments from concept to commercialization. The role requires strong technical expertise in CAD modeling, reverse engineering, product development, manufacturing processes, and project management. The candidate will also be responsible for managing the design team, coordinating with cross-functional departments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering innovative, manufacturable, and cost-effective products.
Key Responsibilities.
Product Design & Development
- Lead the complete product development lifecycle for medical implants and surgical instruments.
- Develop innovative product concepts based on customer requirements and market needs.
- Prepare design inputs, design outputs, verification, validation, and design history documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable medical device standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with surgeons and customers to understand clinical requirements and improve product performance.
CAD Design & Reverse Engineering
- Create complex 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software.
- Lead reverse engineering projects using 3D scanning, CMM data, profile projectors, and CAD modeling.
- Optimize product designs for manufacturability, assembly, and cost reduction.
- Establish CAD standards, design libraries, and best practices within the organization.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
