Area Sales OfficerJob Summary**
The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market reach, and building strong customer relationships within a designated geographic area. This role involves promoting Piramal Pharma's product portfolio to healthcare professionals and institutions, ensuring optimal product availability and market penetration.
Job Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for pharmaceutical products within the designated territory.
- Identify and target key opinion leaders (KOLs), doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to promote Piramal Pharma's product range.
- Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities, clinics, and pharmacies to present product information, address queries, and generate prescriptions/orders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges, and provide insights to the sales management team.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and manage outstanding receivables within the assigned area.
- Organize and participate in medical camps, conferences, and promotional events to enhance product visibility and brand awareness.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, market analysis, and expense reports accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements in sales and marketing activities.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical, and distribution, to optimize sales performance.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, product knowledge, and therapeutic areas.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and build lasting customer relationships.
- Proficiency in local language(s) and English.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Results-oriented with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
