We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor – Mechanical to oversee daily production activities, ensure efficient manufacturing operations, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and planning teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Plan, organize, and monitor manpower, machines, and materials for smooth production.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and delivery timelines.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Train, guide, and evaluate production operators and technicians.
- Prepare daily production reports, shift reports, and productivity analysis.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S practices on the shop floor.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience supervising shop floor operations and production teams.
- Knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and mechanical manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with MS Office and ERP systems is an advantage.

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in fabrication, machining, sheet metal, heavy engineering, or industrial manufacturing is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards and workplace safety practices.
