- Job Summary
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic hospital environment by cleaning patient rooms, wards, operating areas, offices, corridors, and public spaces. The role supports infection prevention and ensures patient comfort and safety.
- Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, waiting areas, and common spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
- Change bed linens and replenish supplies as assigned.
- Collect, segregate, and dispose of general and biomedical waste according to hospital protocols.
- Clean and disinfect medical equipment and furniture as instructed.
- Maintain cleanliness of elevators, staircases, corridors, and administrative areas.
- Refill soap dispensers, hand sanitizers, tissues, and other housekeeping supplies.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow infection control procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
- Respond promptly to emergency cleaning situations, such as spills or contamination.
- Maintain records or checklists of completed cleaning tasks, if required.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
