Job Description :
The BDE identifies business opportunities, pitches loan products (such as home, personal, business, or auto loans), and assists clients through the initial documentation phase. They act as the bridge between potential borrowers and the financial institution's credit team.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Acquisition: Sourcing potential individual or corporate clients through cold calling, field visits, and networking.
* Lead Generation: Developing networks with builders, real estate agents, chartered accountants, and car dealers to secure loan referrals.
* Product Pitching: Explaining various loan products, interest rates, repayment options, and eligibility criteria to prospective borrowers.
* Eligibility Screening: Conducting preliminary checks on client financial profiles, credit scores, and income documents.
* Documentation Support: Collecting necessary KYC documents, bank statements, and financial records to assemble a complete loan application file.
* Relationship Management: Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and cross-selling.
* Target Achievement: Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly loan disbursement targets set by the management.
* Coordination: Liaisoning with the internal credit and underwriting teams to ensure smooth and timely loan processing and approval.
