Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a Limited Company and gain hands-on exposure to accounting, taxation, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Review day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Conduct ledger scrutiny and prepare MIS reports for management.
- Prepare financial statement schedules and assist in the finalization of accounts.
- Perform inter-company reconciliations and coordinate with management for financial reporting.
- Handle GST accounting and reconciliations.
- Prepare and file GST Returns, TDS Returns, and Income Tax Returns.
- Monitor statutory compliances and maintain the compliance calendar.
- Perform vendor reconciliations and ensure timely statutory payments. Prepare the Account Payable and Account Receivable Reports
- Prepare bank reconciliations, receivable reconciliations, and payable reconciliations.
- Process invoice adjustments and ensure accurate accounting entries.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and account for fixed assets.
- Support inventory accounting and reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Inter CA, B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 year of experience in Accounting and Taxation.
- Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
