Conduct daily sales meetings to review performance, address challenges, and provide guidance.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
Ensure customer satisfaction by overseeing the customer experience from inquiry to delivery.
Handle escalated customer complaints or complex negotiations to maintain positive relationships.
4. Inventory Management:
Monitor vehicle stock levels and ensure optimal inventory management in coordination with the inventory or parts department.
Place orders for new vehicles based on sales forecasts and customer demand.
5. Coordination with Other Departments:
Collaborate with the service, finance, and marketing departments to ensure smooth showroom operations.
Work closely with the accounts team for pricing, invoicing, and discount approvals.
6. Sales Reporting:
Review daily sales reports and analyze key metrics like conversion rates, customer footfall, and sales trends.
Provide management with regular updates on sales performance and strategies.
7. Training and Development:
Identify training needs for the sales team and arrange for skill development workshops or coaching sessions.
Ensure new hires are effectively onboarded and trained.
8. Marketing and Promotions:
Plan and execute sales promotions, discounts, and special offers to boost sales.
Coordinate with the marketing team to organize events, campaigns, or local advertisements.
9. Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
Manage the sales department’s budget, ensuring adherence to financial targets and cost controls.
Approve discounts, special offers, and pricing strategies in line with profitability goals.
10. Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all legal, regulatory, and company policy requirements are followed in sales transactions.
Oversee the proper documentation of sales contracts, vehicle registrations, and financial agreements.
