A TeleSales Executive is responsible for making outbound calls to potential and existing customers to promote products, services, or gather information. This role involves engaging with customers over the phone, answering their queries, providing information, and maintaining customer relationships to support the company's sales and customer service objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound Calling:
- Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers to promote products or services.
- Follow prepared scripts and guidelines for different campaigns.
- Customer Engagement:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Answer questions about products or services and address customer concerns.
- Lead Generation:
- Identify potential customers and generate leads through targeted calling efforts.
- Schedule appointments or follow-up calls for the sales team when necessary.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of calls, customer interactions, and transactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Update customer information and ensure data integrity.
- Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team by providing relevant customer information and insights.
- Upsell or cross-sell products and services when appropriate.
- Customer Feedback:
- Gather and document customer feedback and insights.
- Report customer issues and concerns to the relevant department for resolution.
- Target Achievement:
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly call and sales targets.
- Contribute to the achievement of overall sales goals.
- Compliance:
- Follow company policies and procedures, including compliance with do-not-call lists and relevant regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional qualifications in sales or customer service are a plus.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in tele calling, telesales, or a similar role preferred.
- Experience with CRM systems and tele calling software is advantageous.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and persuasion skills.
- Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and CRM systems.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, typically based in a call centre or office environment.
- May require working in shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- High volume of calls and customer interactions.
