We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Language Editor/Copyeditor to refine manuscripts for clarity, coherence, grammatical accuracy, and stylistic consistency. The ideal candidate will ensure high editorial standards while preserving the author’s voice and intent.
Key Responsibilities:
o Edit and proofread manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, syntax, spelling, and consistency.
o Improve clarity, readability, and flow while maintaining the author’s tone and style.
o Ensure adherence to editorial and formatting guidelines.
o Fact-check references, citations, and basic content accuracy where required.
o Collaborate with authors, editors, and publishing teams to enhance manuscript quality.
o Review manuscripts for linguistic precision and structural coherence.
o Maintain consistency in language, terminology, and style across projects.
