Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Drafting & Documentation
- Draft court petitions, plaints, written statements (WS), interlocutory applications (IA), memos, deeds, and other legal documents with accuracy and clarity.
- Ensure compliance with formatting and procedural requirements of different courts.
- Deeds & Agreements
- Prepare, review, and finalize deeds, agreements, and contracts.
- Maintain precision in legal language, avoiding errors and ambiguities.
- Court Process Knowledge
- Prepare and file documents in accordance with court procedures.
- Maintain case bundles, pagination, and annexures as required by court practice.
- Track filing dates, hearing schedules, and assist advocates in timely submissions.
- Revenue & Property Documents
- Draft and type documents related to revenue matters, land/property issues, and other government-related documentation.
- Verify revenue documents for accuracy before submission.
- Data Management & Record Keeping
- Maintain electronic and physical records of all drafts and filed cases.
- Ensure proper inwards/outwards record of legal documents.
- Confidentiality & Professionalism
- Handle sensitive client information with utmost confidentiality.
- Adhere to the firm’s professional and ethical standards.
Desired Skills & Competencies:
- Strong typing speed with high accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Word and legal formatting.
- Good understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple case files simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
