Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and market expansion for transformer and electrical products across India. The role involves business development, key account management, sales leadership, and customer relationship management within the utilities, EPC, industrial, government, PSU, and institutional sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer requirements.
Lead Generation & Customer Acquisition
- Generate, qualify, and convert leads into business opportunities.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
Sales Execution & Order Management
- Manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry to order closure.
- Prepare commercial and technical proposals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution and customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the frontline sales team.
- Set KPIs, review performance, and drive target achievement.
- Ensure effective collaboration across departments.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Engage with procurement teams, technical stakeholders, and decision-makers.
- Focus on customer retention and long-term business growth.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Maintain CRM and sales pipeline reports.
- Provide regular updates and business forecasts to management.
