Position: Emergency Medical Officer (EMO)Department
Job Summary
The Emergency Medical Officer (EMO) is responsible for providing immediate assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment of patients presenting to the Emergency Department. The EMO ensures timely medical care, coordinates with specialists, and maintains accurate clinical documentation while delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, examine, and manage emergency patients promptly.
- Provide emergency medical treatment and stabilize critically ill or injured patients.
- Perform initial diagnosis and formulate treatment plans.
- Order and interpret laboratory and radiological investigations.
- Coordinate with consultants and specialists for referrals and admissions.
- Monitor patients until they are admitted, transferred, or discharged.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records, prescriptions, and treatment notes.
- Ensure timely communication with patients' relatives regarding the patient's condition.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
- Assist in medico-legal cases (MLC) documentation as per hospital guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Perform rotational duties, including day, night, weekend, and emergency shifts.
Qualification
- BAMS/BHMS
- Valid State Medical Council Registration.
Experience
- 3–4 years of experience in Emergency Medicine, ICU, or Casualty.
Working Hours
- Rotational shifts (Morning, Evening, Night) as per hospital roster.
- Availability for emergency duties, weekends, and public holidays.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
