Position Overview
JAYAIR SYSTEM PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing and operational activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with quality systems, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to ensure products meet defined quality standards.
- Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate quality issues, root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns.
- Monitor compliance with ISO standards and internal quality systems.
- Support customer complaint handling and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within manufacturing/engineering industries.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in HVAC, air handling systems, fabrication, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
- Knowledge of inspection instruments and testing methods.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.
