About the Position:
We are looking for an Associate Manager – CSR Tech Programs to lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and delivery of technology-focused CSR and skilling programs in Hosur and surrounding industrial clusters.
The role will primarily focus on programs related to CNC, Mechatronics, Electric Vehicles (EV), Automotive Technologies, Industrial Automation, and Industry 4.0.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing technical skilling, vocational training, employability, or industry-linked programs in one or more of these domains. The candidate should understand both the technical training ecosystem and program management requirements, including training centre operations, trainers, candidates, industry partners, assessments, certifications, placements, and CSR stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical CSR Program Management
- Lead end-to-end implementation of CSR-funded technical skilling programs focused on CNC, Mechatronics, EV, Automotive, Industrial Automation, and related technologies.
- Develop detailed implementation plans, timelines, milestones, and program delivery strategies.
- Manage multiple training centres/batches and ensure timely achievement of program targets.
- Ensure programs are delivered as per approved SOW, budgets, quality standards, and CSR objectives.
- Identify implementation challenges and proactively develop corrective action plans.
2. CNC, Mechatronics & EV Program Operations
- Manage technical training programs involving areas such as:
- CNC Machine Operations & Programming
- CNC Turning/Milling
- Mechatronics
- Industrial Automation
- PLC and Automation
- Robotics
- Electric Vehicle Technology
- EV Service & Maintenance
- Automotive Electronics
- Battery Technology
- Related Industry 4.0 skills
- Coordinate with technical experts and trainers to ensure curriculum relevance and quality.
- Ensure availability and effective utilization of labs, machines, tools, simulators, EV equipment, and training infrastructure.
- Monitor practical training, assessments, certifications, and industry exposure.
3. Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as the key point of contact for corporate CSR teams, implementation partners, training institutes, technical partners, government stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Conduct regular review meetings with CSR partners and share program progress.
- Prepare presentations, MIS, dashboards, reports, and impact updates for clients.
- Understand client expectations and translate them into actionable program deliverables.
4. Industry & Placement Linkages
- Build relationships with manufacturing, automotive, engineering, EV, and industrial companies in Hosur and nearby industrial clusters.
- Develop industry partnerships for:
- Placement opportunities
- Apprenticeships
- Internships
- Industrial visits
- Guest lectures
- OJT
- Curriculum inputs
- Industry exposure
- Track placement outcomes and support the team in achieving placement targets.
- Understand local industry manpower requirements and align training programs accordingly.
5. Team & Centre Management
- Manage and mentor project teams, centre coordinators, trainers, mobilization teams, and placement teams.
- Ensure adequate staffing and timely deployment of trainers and technical resources.
- Conduct regular centre visits and field reviews.
- Monitor attendance, batch progress, trainer performance, infrastructure, and learner engagement.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, safety standards, and operational processes.
6. Monitoring, Evaluation & MIS
- Establish effective monitoring mechanisms for program performance.
- Track key indicators including:
- Mobilization
- Enrolment
- Attendance
- Training completion
- Certification
- Assessment scores
- Placement
- Retention
- Industry engagement
- Prepare weekly/monthly MIS and management reports.
- Identify trends, gaps, and deviations and recommend improvements.
- Support impact assessment and documentation of program outcomes and success stories.
7. Budget & Compliance Management
- Monitor program budgets and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
- Coordinate procurement of technical equipment, consumables, tools, and training materials.
- Ensure documentation and compliance requirements are completed on time.
- Maintain project records, invoices, utilization reports, and supporting documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Vocational Education, Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Candidates with a MBA/PGDM in Operations, CSR, Social Development, or Project Management will be preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in technical skilling, vocational training, CSR programs, industry-linked skilling, or program management.
Must-Have Experience
The candidate should have direct experience handling technical skilling/programs in at least one or more of the following areas:
CNC | Mechatronics | EV | Automotive | Industrial Automation | PLC | Robotics | Industry 4.0 | Advanced Manufacturing
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Managed CNC/Mechatronics/EV training centres or projects.
- Worked with ITI, Polytechnic, engineering colleges, NSDC/SSC ecosystem, or technical training institutions.
- Managed CSR-funded technical skilling programs for corporates.
- Handled industry-linked training and placement programs.
- Worked with automotive/manufacturing companies or industrial clusters.
- Managed technical trainers and training infrastructure.
Experience in Hosur, Bengaluru, Chennai, or other automotive/manufacturing clusters will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
